Critical Investigation Proposal Reloaded

Working Title
How does Chief Keef's music give out negative representations to audiences?

Angle
What impact does Chief Keef's music have on audiences. Is this an idea of Beger's theory, men act and women appear.

Hypothesis
Chief Keef's music has allowed the audience to start objectifying women due to his lyrics.

Representation and stereotyping
He's represented in a negative manner, but is also representing in a negative manner, this is because he objectifies girls and represents them as slutty and object-like. In his videos, he makes guns look cool and attractive to younger audiences.

Regulation and censorship
A lot of radios and YouTube videos have to be censored because of the foul language or the objects such as guns and drugs which can not be seen pre watershed. A song like "I don't like" has so many gaps in it pre watershed, there is no point listening to it.

Media Technology and the Digital Revolution

On his social media page, there is an abundance of swear words and foul pictures which shows his foul manners and him as a person.

Copycat theory
Kids want to be like Cheif Keef by hearing his music and seeing how much power he has. This shows that his music, however bad, can be influential.
